Quality Weimaraners & German Shorthair Pointers
We are a small hobby kennel having come into existence in 2000. WayStar Kennels adheres to a high ethical standard for our dogs. All breeding stock is OFA certified, and proven in either the AKC conformation show ring,in the field, or on the agility course. Our interests are in the quality of our dogs, not quantity. Our dogs are important members of our family, and are spoiled rotten. We have been involved in showing dogs since 1997. We love the competition and camaraderie that competing has given us. We are active members in the Weimaraner Club of Columbus, Weimaraner Club of America, and the German Shorthair Pointer Club of America. We have also been active in rescue. Our commitment to quality involves: breeding only to promote the betterment of the breed, health screenings of both dogs, health guarantees on all of our puppies, and the desire to educate potential puppy buyers about the requirements of Weimaraners and German Shorthaired Pointers. These are both wonderful breeds of dogs, but due to their high levels of intelligence and need for exercise, they are not for everyone. Please take a few minutes and visit our site.
